Project description
The device has been designed and manufactured for automatic assembly and control of the o-ring on the piston, it uses a rotating o-ring capture module. The rotation of the arm and its horizontal/vertical movement is carried out by means of pneumatic actuators.
Work cycle: the detail is picked up from the linear vibrating feeder by the gripper and placed under the module capture that takes the O-rings from the device (O-ring changer) where the O-ring is mounted. This device has its own vibrating feeder, in which the o-rings are prepared for assembly. After completing the assembly cycle, the presence of the o-ring on the detail is checked and the detail is placed in the appropriate container for correct (OK) or incorrect (NOK) details.
The device has been additionally equipped with: an optional soundproofing cover – reducing the noise of vibrating feeders, a barcode scanner and a label printer integrated with the software.
