Project description
Design of a semi-automatic station for soldering copper pipes with brass fittings. The station is made on the principle of a rotary work table, divided into 4 parts. The operator’s task is to place two pipes with connectors between the spindles in section I and press the approval button. In section III, the rotation of the pipes, the access to the pipes of the soldering burners, together with the automatic reciprocating movement, as well as the automatic feeding of the soldering wire in the place of joining are carried out. In section IV, the heated fittings are cooled with air. The device is equipped with a side, pneumatic station for threading connectors onto a pipe, and a storage for gas cylinders.
